Prison Island Amsterdam is an indoor leisure and game venue that includes 780 m² of game area with 28 cells filled with challenges!

Often confused with an escape game — but it's completely different!

In an escape game, you and your team usually have one hour to solve a scenario based on logic.

At Prison Island Amsterdam, it's a much larger playground, featuring 28 cells with 28 different challenges (physical, technical, and intellectual). Plus, you're free to choose your own route, replay challenges, and improve your score within the allotted time.

With your team, try to conquer 28 cells — each offering challenges combining agility, thinking, and strategy. Some cells may take several attempts before you earn all the points!

And watch out — the overall timer keeps running!

Compete against the other teams of the day, the week, or even the top 3 of the year by scoring as many points as possible!

Each successful challenge earns you between 25 and 100 points.

Large screens located in the reception and play areas display live rankings throughout your session.

No! The challenges are designed for everyone aged 8 and up.

Thanks to the variety of challenges and the team-based concept, everyone can contribute according to their abilities and interests.

Not a fan of a particular challenge? No problem — just skip it and move on to the next one to keep scoring points!

Wear comfortable clothing suitable for light physical activity (sneakers, shorts, T-shirt).

High heels are not allowed.

A change of shirt may be useful if you plan to go for a high score!

The game session lasts 90 minutes.

Please arrive 10 minutes before the time shown on your ticket for check-in and team briefing.

You can purchase an extra 30 minutes on-site to earn even more points.

After your session, allow time for debriefing, checking scores, and enjoying a refreshing drink.

Prison Island Amsterdam can host 22 teams of 5 players simultaneously.

For optimal comfort, teams of 2 to 4 people are recommended.

You can play with just 2 players, but some challenges will be trickier, and you might not be able to earn maximum points in some cells.

Teams can be adjusted at the last minute at the front desk, and our staff will help you find the most suitable setup.

To ensure accurate scoring, once the game starts, teams should not mix.

Yes, lockers with padlocks are available for jackets, coats, and small bags.

We recommend not bringing valuables and leaving large items in your car.

Please note: phones are not allowed inside the game area, both for confidentiality and to prevent damage.

Prison Island Amsterdam is suitable for everyone aged 8 and up.

Children under 14 must be accompanied by at least one parent in the team — for safety, comprehension of challenges, and comfort in an immersive environment (sounds, lights, décor, effects). Perfect for families and birthday parties!

Anyone entering the play area is considered a player.

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled game time.

This allows us to welcome you, create and register teams, store belongings, and give a briefing.

Absolutely! Because the game is team-based, you can follow at your own pace, skip the physical challenges, and still participate by helping and supporting your team.

Need a break? You can exit and rejoin your team mid-game with our staff's assistance.

Recommended options include P+R Sloterdijk, ParkBee Station Sloterdijk, and Q-Park Sloterdijk. Parking rates vary by day and time; booking online in advance is often cheaper.
